  1. Find products or design custom items that fit the approved design plan and budget with respect to style, scale, size and condition.
  2. Request finish samples or fabric swatch cuttings, to verify colors and finishes if necessary.
  3. Check options, specifications, and availability of all items within the context of the project timeline.
  4. Request pricing quotes — a process which involves round after round of communication with vendors and manufacturers to confirm pricing and ensure availability.
  5. Present items to client for final approval and payment.
  6. Create Purchase Orders, purchase items from manufacturers and make all payments.
  7. Arrange shipping and freight deliveries, confirming all addresses are correct.
  8. Set up receiving warehouse for delivery and storage of items.
  9. Track shipments with close attention to expected delivery dates. This is a recurring, weekly task which lasts anywhere from weeks to months.
  10. Track all costs associated with the project.
  11. Confirm receipt of individual items as they arrive at receiving warehouse. Items must be inspected by receiving protocol and held in storage until everything is ready for delivery.
  12. Evaluate all obstacles, discrepancies, issues, damages, or any other problems.
  13. Coordinate replacements or repairs and handle any warranty issues with manufacturer.
  14. Organize White Glove delivery, coordinate and oversee installation of all products, including artworks and accessories.
